Global Risk Review

The July 2026 Global Risk Review identifies geopolitical escalation, climate extremes, digital misinformation, public health emergencies, and digital transformation as five key global risks. The report argues that these risks are increasingly reinforcing one another, creating a complex threat environment in which disruptions cascade across political, economic, social, and environmental systems. Through thematic analyses and regional case studies, the report highlights the growing mismatch between accelerating global risks and the capacity of existing governance, infrastructure, and preparedness systems to respond. It concludes that strengthening resilience will require adaptive governance, cross-sector collaboration, effective public communication, community preparedness, and greater international cooperation to manage an increasingly interconnected and uncertain world.
