Business interruption and supply chain disruption, changes in legislation and regulation, natural catastrophes, and climate change complete the top six, while political risks and violence climbed to its highest-ever position at seventh, driven by growing geopolitical instability, armed conflicts, and trade protectionism. The report highlights that as risk becomes more complex and interconnected, integrated resilience strategies are required to support adaptation in a more complex risk landscape.
